After a long break caused by the draconian "lock-down" lunacy, we re-commenced the Wednesday Vigil on the 4th August 2021 [last previous Wednesday Vigil was 11th MARCH 2020]. We did have a "rehersal" on the Monday 19th July 2021 to Start at the Zimbabwe Embassy, and move the the Home Office and 10 Downing Street.

The Wednesday Vigil outside the Zimbabwe Embassy [429 The Strand, London WC2R 0JR] is a protest aimed at bring to the attention of the passing British public [and tourists] about the attrocities happening in Zimbabwe. In addition, and of immediate concern, is the apparent policy change regarding Asylum Seekers by the UK Home Office. Having detained around 150 Zimbabeans in July 2021, we understand that it is the intention of the Home Office to "Forcibly Remove" 50 Zimbabwean at a time on Chartered Aircraft. This is both unjust and higly discriminatory. Furthermore, how can cases be "assessed on their individual merits" be block-booked onto return flights to Zimbabwe?
