Zanu PF Youth 'militia' Green BombersThe Zimbabwe Human Rights Organisation (ZHRO) is rallying its members to a peaceful planned Wednesday Vigil protest.  It is to be held outside the Zimbabwe Embassy in London on the 15th of September 2021, starting at 11am, to Protest the planned return of the murderous Green Bombers in Zimbabwe.

The regime’s cabinet has decided to bring back the Border Gezi dreaded "Green Bombers", who were a paramilitary group of youths that are well known for carrying out heinous acts of extreme violence in the name of ZANU PF especially during the 2008 and 2013 elections. This was approved in parliament with the blessing of Youth Minister Kirsty Coventry and Ministry of Defence officials.

This is done under the guise of National Youth Service. These unemployed youths are abused to maim and kill during election times. With 2023 elections on the horizon, these youths are being indoctrinated once again to act as Zanu PF weapons for torture, abduction and murder. According to recent reports, only graduates from this recently re-introduced National Youth Service also known as Green Bombers or Border Gezis, will be employed in Zimbabwe - a claim seen by many activists as cohesive and manipulative.

The lame excuse of it’s return is that it will equip the youths with a sense of patriotism and survival skills - whereas they are state-sponsored youth gangs used to abuse people’s rights during elections.
