According to sources close to ZimbaWave, there is information that the UK Home Office invited Zimbabwean Immigration and Social Welfare officials for a weeklong tour of one of the two prisons and detentions centres that are going to house foreign offenders from many countries including Zimbabwe ahead of their deportations during the course of this year.

The UK Home Office has indeed invited Zimbabwean officials for a week-long tour of UK prisons and detention centers, reportedly to facilitate deportations of Zimbabwean nationals who have committed crimes in the UK. Here’s what’s known about the situation:

Some Zimbabweans have been known to engage in protests and claim asylum, allegedly using false reports of persecution.

  • – A few high-profile cases include:
  • – William Chinyanga: sentenced to prison in the UK for sending videos agitating for terrorism in Zimbabwe.
  • – Simbarashe Joseph Jingo: convicted of attempted murder in 2017 and facing deportation. Joseph Jingo tried to murder his wife by chocking her.

Some known criminals such as Felix Ndiweni and Makomborero Haruziwishe who are convicted criminals have always participated in protests against Zimbabwe’s government. It has been said the convicted criminals will be among the first bunch of criminals to be deported.

The convicts who were all convicted for offences involving violence against women are the leaders of protests against Zimbabwe.

Their hatred against women is being seen in their plans to demonstrate against the First Lady of Zimbabwe when she visits the UK next month.

The leaders of this demonstration includes John Burke who has a record of abusing Zimbabwean asylum seeking women. Zimba Wave investigative journalists have uncovered that all the leaders of these anti Zimbabwean demonstrations are accomplished women abusers.

Additionally, research suggests that men who hate women and abuse them are often driven by complex factors, including:

– Power and control: Some individuals use abuse as a means to exert power and control over their partners. This then spills out to any woman.

– Misogynistic attitudes and patriarchal societies can contribute to the normalization of abuse.

Information obtained by this paper show that the UK Home Office is working with several countries in Africa to fast-track deportations of thousands of immigrants and law breakers who have been exploiting the appeals processes to continue living in the country. The Home Office is seeking to deport offenders and individuals who have been deemed to be making false asylum claims especially those who have been using false reports of persecution. Zimbabwe is listed as having hundreds of fake asylum seekers who are known to conduct regular protests at the Embassy and handing over useless petitions at Number 10 Downing Street.

Deportation Framework:

The UK Home Office plans to deport foreign offenders, including Zimbabweans, who have exhausted their appeals process.

Appeals will be heard via video link after the individual has left the UK, with relocation costs covered by the UK government if the appeal is successful.

Zimbabwean Nationals in the UK:

UK Home Office’s Approach:

The Home Office is working with several African countries, including Zimbabwe, to fast-track deportations.

Decisions are based on statistical analysis of trends and behaviors of foreigners in the UK

Further investigations carried out show that the Home Office has a database of all illegal immigrants and particularly Zimbabweans who are masquerading as human rights and political activists by engaging in paid protests marches denigrating the Zimbabwe government, the CIO and President Mnangagwa.

During the weeklong tour, the Zimbabwe delegation met with officials from the Home Office who included Martin Waspe, the Head of Immigration Enforcement and Paul Frazer who is in charge of Appeal Services. The officials explained that the new deportation framework would be that any appeals have to be done through video link when the individual has already left the UK. If the appeal is successful, the UK Government would meet in full the relocation of the appellants back to the UK.

The Zimbabwean delegation visited the Home Office Command Centre, toured the Heathrow Immigration Removal Centres, the HMP Huntercombe Prison for Foreign national offenders and the Colnbrook Removal Centre. The Zimbabwe officials are said to be happy with the facilities they saw.

It’s worth noting that not all Zimbabweans in the UK are involved in criminal activities, and many are law-abiding citizens who may be impacted by the increased scrutiny of Zimbabwean documents and academic certificates.

The Home Office makes decisions based on statistical analysis of trends and behaviours of foreigners. Some Zimbabweans have been involved in activities that have led to concerns about their behavior by breaking the laws in the UK. There have been instances where some individuals, including Zimbabweans, have been found to have obtained driving licenses through fraudulent means and when they came they caused fatal accidents which caused the UK DVLA not to accept certain classes of licences.

Unfortunately, some individuals may be misled by these convicted criminals and join them in their conspiracy theories and propaganda against Zimbabwe and its leaders.

Some Zimbabweans have committed heinous crimes in the UK while others like William Chinyanga boasted online sending videos agitating commission of terrorism in Zimbabwe. He was imprisoned by the UK courts.

One of the ring leaders Simbarashe Joseph Jingo was convicted of attempted murder, the offence was committed in Highfield Crescent in Onchan in 2017. Jingo was supposed to be deported. In order to boost his chances of winning the appeal he is always featuring on demonstrations at the Embassy against Zimbabwean government. to bolster his asylum claims. Other convicted criminals and fugitive from justice in Zimbabwe include Felix Ndiweni and Makomborero Haruziwishe who participates in protests and interviews denigrating and opposing Zimbabwe’s re-admission into the Commonwealth.

Has anyone asked them a question: Who losses or suffers from Zimbabwe’s non re-admission into the Commonwealth?

It is sad that the image of professional and law-abiding Zimbabweans in the UK has been tarnished by these selfish individuals who pretend to be fighting for human rights while feathering their own nests. There is now extensive scrutiny of Zimbabwean documents including academic certificates earned legitimately by thousands of Zimbabweans because of the dubious actions of the dirty few. Every month these individuals engage in protests over issues in Zimbabwe – some before the courts.

Because of their past the authorities are now checking of every demonstrator to pick out those who will be deported .

The security officers are working to identify individuals who may be attempting to exploit the asylum system.

The CCTV footage will be used to identify the criminals and out to demonstrate and demonise Zimbabwe.

We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
